Change Management Counseling:

Powers Economics provides management-consulting services to assist clients in cultivating change within the culture of their organization – change aimed at accelerating success, both individual and collective success.

Adaptive change begins with assessing the core mission and competencies of an organization; some would say – getting a read on the current state of organizational politics and the status of informal organizations within the overall formal organization. Powers Economics works with senior management to identify and evaluate the spheres of influence within the organization, formal and informal - assessing who’s on the bus, who’s not, and whether the bus is on route to arrive at the desired destination.

Powers Economics assists clients’ leadership in evaluating the rank and file’s overall understanding and commitment to the organization’s critical mission. This phase of the change process involves identifying those activities that need to be bolstered, as well as though activities that need to be curbed or eliminated. The key to change is eliminating activities that do not directly drive the core mission of the organization. This frees up an organization to focus time, talent, and resources on achieving clear priorities that do advance the organizational mission.

Powers Economics prepares senior leadership to effectively reach throughout their organization in gathering feedback and input for strategic planning. This process is aimed at cultivating the desired change in culture and performance – to obtain buy-in and to move forward accordingly. Powers Economics is there to coach the leadership team in designing and executing the new, or reconstituted, strategic plan, by improving communications and building teamwork that will drive the organization’s overall performance.
